Meet the Team

Wendy Wright

Wendy Wright is a dedicated hygienist at Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry. She rejoined the practice in December 2022 after a brief time away, bringing with her years of experience and a genuine passion for helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles.

After high school, Wendy attended Calhoun to complete her basic coursework. She later married and moved to Decatur in 1996. Her journey into dentistry began as a dental assistant, where she quickly discovered how much she enjoyed working with patients, caring for their teeth, and making a positive difference in their oral health. That experience inspired her to further her education, and in 2003, she attended the ADHP program and began her career as a dental hygienist.

For Wendy, becoming a hygienist was a natural progression from the work she already loved. Her time as a dental assistant confirmed that dentistry was the right profession for her and motivated her to continue growing in the field.

Outside of the office, Wendy is a proud mother of two daughters and grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters, who are the loves of her life. She treasures spending as much time with her family as possible and enjoys making memories with them whenever she can.

Jacee Waits

Jacee Waits joined Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry in December 2024 as a dental assistant and the practice’s “Social Media Gal.” A North Alabama native, Jacee grew up in the area and continues to call it home. After graduating from high school in 2022, she attended dental assisting school and, shortly after completing her training, found her work family at DCD.

Jacee loves that dentistry gives her the opportunity to continuously learn while building meaningful connections with both her patients and her team. She knew she had found the right profession when she realized how much she enjoyed helping others feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She also appreciates that no two days are exactly the same, keeping her work exciting and rewarding.

Outside of the office, Jacee enjoys a full and creative life with her husband, Hunter, and their three children: Briggs, Parker, and Miles. She is also passionate about photography—she even took the team headshots!—and works as a substitute teacher. In her free time, Jacee loves spending time with her family, traveling, and going to church. Living a life centered around faith, family, and making meaningful memories is especially important to her.

Shana Odom

Shana Odom has been a dedicated hygienist at Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry since May 2019. She has called the surrounding area home since she was just three days old. In fact, on the day she was born, her father received the call that he had been hired for a new job, bringing their family to the area where Shana would grow up and build her life.

Shana knew she had found the right profession when she discovered that dental hygiene allowed her to combine her skills with her passion for connecting with people. She values the meaningful relationships she develops with her patients and enjoys helping them create healthy habits that can improve not only their dental health but their overall well-being.

Outside of the office, Shana has been happily married to her husband, Chris, for more than 20 years and is a proud mother of two. Her oldest, Alyah, is married and thriving, while her youngest, Sylas, keeps the family busy with his many middle school sports. Above all, Shana finds great joy in her family and her faith. When she has free time, she especially enjoys studying the Bi

Calley Ondocsin

Calley Ondocsin has been part of Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry since January 2017 and serves as the practice administrator. Originally from Anniston, Alabama, she attended the University of Alabama, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and met her husband, Dr. Ondocsin. The couple moved to Decatur in May 2013 when Dr. Ondocsin joined DCD.

Calley began working behind the scenes at DCD in 2017 before stepping into a more active, full-time role in January 2022. As practice administrator, she supports the team wherever she is needed and is committed to helping both her husband and the entire DCD team succeed.

Outside of the office, Calley and Dr. Ondocsin have been married for 16 years and have two boys, Luke and Seth, who keep them plenty busy. She loves traveling whenever she gets the chance and especially enjoys finding great travel deals using credit card points. Calley is also an active member of her church and enjoys volunteering when she isn’t busy chasing her two rambunctious boys around.

Kesha Dutton

Kesha Dutton has been a dedicated hygienist at Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry since 2003. She grew up in Hatton in nearby Lawrence County, where she still resides today. Kesha attended Wallace State, where she completed her dental hygiene education and prepared for a career she quickly discovered was a perfect fit.

One of Kesha’s favorite parts of being a hygienist is building lasting relationships with her patients. She enjoys getting to know them and catching up during their visits every six months. Kesha knew she had chosen the right profession while she was still in hygiene school. While some people might shy away from pictures and videos of teeth needing extensive cleaning, Kesha saw them as an exciting challenge and loved the idea of helping transform them into healthier, cleaner smiles.

Outside of the office, Kesha married her high school crush in 1999, and together they have two wonderful children who are now both married. Most recently, their oldest daughter welcomed a little one into the family, giving Kesha one of her favorite new titles: Granny!

In her free time, Kesha enjoys reading, smocking, sewing, watching reality TV, and spending time at the beach. When she isn’t at home, you can usually find her spending time with her grandbaby or watching football.

Brittany Garrison

Brittany Garrison is a treatment coordinator at Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry. She originally worked with the practice from 2007 to 2017 and was excited to return to the DCD team in August 2025.

Originally from Southside, Alabama, Brittany moved to Hartselle in 2007. After spending some time back in Southside, she ultimately realized that Hartselle was where she wanted to call home. Brittany attended dental assisting school at Calhoun Community College, where she prepared for a career in a field she found both interesting and rewarding.

Brittany was drawn to dentistry because she wanted to be part of helping people. During her time as a dental assistant, she especially loved working directly with patients and seeing their before-and-after results. Watching how a transformed smile could positively impact someone’s confidence confirmed that she had chosen the right profession.

Outside of the office, Brittany loves traveling, thrift shopping, and spending time with her family. She is married and is a proud mom of two children and one bonus child. She also enjoys being outdoors whenever possible and loves spending time surrounded by nature.

Amy Etheridge

Amy Etheridge joined Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry as a hygienist in February 2026. A graduate of Hartselle High School, Amy continued her education at Wallace State Community College, where she earned her associate degree in 2017. She has been practicing dental hygiene ever since and currently resides in Priceville with her family.

Amy was drawn to the dental field by her genuine love for caring for others. One of her favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and building meaningful connections with them. She knew she had chosen the right profession when she realized her career gave her the opportunity to meet and connect with new people every day, making her work especially rewarding.

Outside of the office, Amy is a devoted wife and proud mom to her son, Lane, whom she describes as the sweetest boy. In her free time, she enjoys shopping—especially thrifting—painting, and anything related to true crime. Most of all, Amy loves spending time with her family and making lasting memories together.

Amy Griffin-Baker

Amy Griffin-Baker has been part of the Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry team since 2010, serving as a dental assistant—or, as she’s affectionately known around the office, the “Third Doctor.” A graduate of Austin High School—“Go Black Bears!”—Amy continued her education through the Calhoun Dental Assisting Program and earned her certification as a Registered Dental Assistant.

One of Amy’s favorite parts of dentistry is helping transform people’s smiles. A particularly meaningful experience confirmed just how powerful her work could be when the team treated a patient who had struggled with drug addiction. After treating every tooth and reconstructing her smile, seeing the patient’s emotional reaction and renewed confidence was a moment Amy will never forget.

Outside of the office, Amy proudly describes herself as a “Mother to Many.” She has a one-year-old “mini me,” complete with plenty of sass, and loves spending time with her nephews and the rest of her family. When she gets some well-deserved time to herself, Amy enjoys getting her hair and nails done, occasional thrifting, and relaxing at home—her favorite safe space. She also works part-time as a waitress and especially enjoys connecting with her regular customers.

Roberta Pullen

Roberta Pullen is a hygiene coordinator at Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry. She originally joined the practice in 2001 and, after an eight-year break to pursue other adventures, recently returned to the DCD team.

Roberta grew up on Lake Martin before eventually making her home in Decatur, where she still resides today. While she loves being part of the Decatur community, growing up on the lake remains a special part of who she is.

Throughout her career in dentistry, Roberta has found great fulfillment in helping patients make their dental experiences as comfortable and positive as possible. She enjoys using her communication and customer service skills every day and especially values the meaningful relationships she has built with patients over the years. After stepping away from dentistry for several years, her desire to return to DCD reminded her just how much she enjoys the profession and the connections that come with it.

Outside of the office, family is one of the most important parts of Roberta’s life. She loves spending time with her husband, Hugh, her daughter, Jordan, and her grandchild, Shaddux. She also enjoys traveling, shopping, thrifting, and being involved in her church.

CJ Marshall

CJ Marshall joined Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry as a dental assistant in August 2025. A lifelong Morgan County resident, she has lived between Decatur and Priceville and currently calls Priceville home.

CJ was drawn to dentistry by her passion for helping people feel better and more confident in their smiles. She especially enjoys oral surgery, which has become one of her greatest passions within the dental field. CJ knew she had found the right profession the first time a patient became emotional after seeing their new smile. Witnessing how much that transformation meant to the patient confirmed that dentistry was exactly where she belonged.

Outside of the office, CJ is a busy mom to three energetic boys, and her family is always her biggest priority. When she isn’t cheering from the sidelines as a sports mom, she loves making memories with her family through outdoor adventures like camping and kayaking. CJ and her husband, Drew, also share a love for old trucks and cars and enjoy attending car shows in their old Suburban—usually with an iced coffee in hand.

Mandi Franks

Mandi Franks has been part of the Decatur Comprehensive Dentistry team since March 2010, serving as both a hygienist and insurance coordinator. A Decatur native, Mandi graduated from West Morgan High School in 1992 before attending Calhoun, where she earned her associate degree in dental assisting. She continued her education through the ADHP program and earned her dental hygiene license in 1996. Although she grew up in Decatur, Mandi has called Hartselle home for the past 27 years.

Mandi appreciates the attention to detail that dentistry requires. She takes pride in noticing the little things that others might overlook, a skill that serves her well in both patient care and her work with dental insurance.

Outside of the office, Mandi is married to her husband, BJ, and is a proud mom to her sons, Colin and Reed, as well as her bonus sons, Hunter and Dillon. Her family recently grew even more special with the arrival of her first grandbaby in September 2026! Much of Mandi’s time is spent supporting her family and staying involved in their activities. When she has time to relax, she enjoys shopping, trips to the beach, and searching for great finds at a good thrift store.
